Selling Your BMW

Sell my BMW
BMW has long being the car that all drivers have aspired to owning, even those that compare BMW drivers to hedgehogs secretly dream of driving a BMW…they just don’t want to admit it.
For decades now BMW has been the car to own, the one to have sat on the driveway, the one that says you have made it!
The demand for BMW cars has never waivered, sure they have made a few mistakes in the styling of some cars but by and large they get it right and, more often than not set the bench mark for the other manufacturers to follow.
The ever popular 3 Series has had a long life, beginning in 1975 as the E21, right through three decades to today’s E93 version bursting to the brim with technology.

BMW has relentlessly pursued innovations, incorporating technologies such as stop start, iDrive, run flat tyres and also produces some of the best performing sports variants available with the M sports additions.
BMW were also the force behind the rekindling of Britain’s love affair with the Mini, whilst almost twice the size of the original Mini, partly for safety reason and partly for practicality, BMW managed to keep the quirkiness of the mini, with its cheeky looks and go-kart like handling.
There’s no doubt a BMW car whether brand new or a used one is still one to be treasured. Residual values remain some of the highest around, meaning you should be able to demand a great price if you are trying to sell your car, but don’t worry if you are looking to buy one, you can be sure you’re getting a lot of car for your money. Providing you look after your BMW and service it regularly you should still be able to recoup a large part of your investment when you sell it on in the future.

Sell my Audi

Unlike some manufacturers Audi has never had a problem with image or reliability problems. Their strapline Vorsprung durch Technik (translated into English - Progress through Technology) is one of the most recognised phrases in the world. Audi have been using it since the 1970’s and it still remains today. It has even been quoted by Del Boy in an episode of Only Fools and Horses.
Audi are producing some of the most desirable cars in the market and the A4 competes pound for pound with the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C Class for the top spot in the most competitive of categories - the Compact Executive Car.
With a full range of cars from the A2 super mini, through to the Large 4x4 Q7 and on to the astonishing R8, Audi appear to be the company that have everything at the moment.
The R8 is a true supercar, built in its own factory in Neckarsulm, Germany, by a team of engineers hand picked by Audi. To work on the R8 the engineers have typically been working with Audi for at least 10 years. The main assembly is by hand, with each car taking 120 engineers approximately 70 hours to build. Interestingly all the welding on the Audi R8 is by hand, only 6 robots are used in the entire production process. Audi produce 28 cars a day with a car rolling off the semi automatic production line every 32 minutes.
Audi has based its success on producing high quality, reliable cars that have wowed drivers for decades. That doesn’t look like stopping now and is good news if you are looking to sell your Audi. The market demand for used Audi’s is high, if you have a well maintained and clean Audi you are sure to have a highly desirable car on your hands which will put you in the driving seat when you look to sell your car. Selling My Alfa Romeo

Any one thinking I want to sell my Alfa Romeo will be pleased to know that they are seeing somewhat of resurgence in recent years, long gone are the days of poor build quality, workmanship and reliability. They are some of the most unique looking cars available. At a time when other manufacturers are sharing platforms and body shells producing cars that look almost identical to one another.
Alfa seem to have worked on the design of their cars over the past decade and really are producing drivers cars, with just as much thought put into the interior as the exterior.
Some of the recent launches such as the Mito and Guilietta really have captured the imagination, with distinctive styling that really is up there with the class leaders.
This is all good news if you are thinking of selling your Alfa Romeo, whether that be a 156, GT Coupe the 159 they are sure to be in high demand.
White is the new Black so if you had the foresight a few years ago to buy a white Alfa when everyone else was buying black, you could well be inundated with offers for your car. Obviously the Red option is forever a popular choice and will help the residual values of your car.
Don’t just take our word for it, to quote Jeremy Clarkson “Do not pretend the 159 isn’t there next time you want a mid-range four-door saloon because that would be a mistake. A bad one. First of all, it is exactly one million times better looking than a BMW 3-series. And with those triple headlamps, and perfect proportions, at least half a million times better looking than any rivals from Audi, Mercedes or Jaguar.”
Mr Clarkson went on to say how good the interior was and was equally enthusiastic about the performance of the engines.
So whether you’re looking to sell your Alfa Romeo or thinking of buying an Alfa Romeo there couldn’t be a better time. If you are selling your Alfa then try www.cararena.co.uk They will try hard to get you the best deal they can to buy your car for cash.

All Seeing Speed Cameras - or ASSET

A new type of road safety camera that as well as catching speeding motorists, will be able to pick out those not wearing a seatbelt, identify tailgating and can recognise number plates, so will be able to identify those cars without tax or insurance as well. ASSET (advanced safety and driver support for essential road transport).

Are drivers a soft touch for raising extra revenue or will this new type of camera really lead to improved road safety and catching those without TAX and insurance.

Depending on which report you read, speed cameras have either saved thousands of lives or not made the slightest bit of difference to road safety, with the only beneficiary being the treasury!

My argument after having been involved in two serious accidents in the past 10 months and two very near misses is that the other drivers who were at fault in all the incidents would still not have been caught by the new ASSET cameras. Speed wasn't a factor, nor was tailgating. In all incidents it was just the drivers not paying attention. So I guess my question is will these make any difference to Road safety or just bump up the government coffers.

One thing I think will improve road safety, especially if you're driving a dark grey car (my C4 Picasso despite its size seemed difficult to see on the road to other drivers) - is drive with your lights on at all times.
